ROLE PURPOSE/ SUMMARY
Pobal delivers funding programmes on behalf of the Government to a
wide range of community service and development organisations. This
role is based in the Monitoring, Analysis & Outcomes Unit, which is
responsible for collecting data on outputs and outcomes of programmes,
its analysis, producing reports for funders, carrying out research and
analysis and providing insights for operational delivery, programme
design and policy development.
This role is responsible for developing and implementing technical
methods and approaches for the extraction, analysis and reporting of
data from the Early Years Platform (EYP). The EYP is a programmes
administration system underpinned by a complex and large dataset used
for reporting on the EY programmes. This role will have overall
responsibility for supporting and enabling the Monitoring, Analysis
and Outcomes Unit to provide information and analysis to the
Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth
(DCEDIY) and Pobal?s operational teams. Particularly, this role will
act as a technical bridge between Pobal?s MAO Unit and the ICT
function, through direct involvement at multiple stages in the Systems
Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
